HEARING DISORDERS
HYPERACUSIS
HYPERACUSIS
Is a type of reduced tolerance for sound. People with hyperacusis often find ordinary noises too loud, and loud noises uncomfortable or painful. It is often associated with tinnitus and distortion of sounds.
PHONOPHOBIA
Is defined as a persistent, abnormal, and unwarranted fear of sound. Often, these are normal environmental sounds (e.g., traffic, kitchen sounds, doors closing, or even loud speech) that cannot under any circumstances be damaging. Phonophobia may also be related to, caused by, or confused with hyperacusis.
PHONOPHOBIA
DYSACUSIS
Is a hearing impairment characterized by difficulty in processing details of sound due to distortion in frequency or intensity rather than primarily a loss of the ability to perceive sound.

DYSACUSIS
DYPLACUSIS
Is when there is a perception of a single auditory stimulus as sounds of a different pitch in the two ears.
Diplacusis can be particularly disruptive to individuals working within fields requiring acute audition, such as musicians, sound engineers or performing artists

DYPLACUSIS
DYPLACUSIS
These hearing disorders are normally noised induced and can happen with tinnitus and hearing loss but not necessarily, there are few other causes like ear and brain surgery, accident, history of ear infections and medicaments. There is no cure and the conditions can either resolve on their own or be permanent.
PREVENTION
Unfortunately hearing in humans cannot be repaired and it does not regenerate. The treatments available are limited apart from hearing aids which can be pricey and may not solved problems like tinnitus or other hearing disorders so if you do not want to come out the doctor with a "you have to learn how to live with it" you have to start taking some measures before it is too late.
